Time to Market & Customization
Each Branded Version requires Customization to ensure it meets the specific needs of both the brand and target audience. Typically, the Customization process will take 30-45 days in total from the start of the project to launch readiness and finalization.
Sales Spider’s social media solution can be deployed within an existing template (please view salespider.com) or integrated into the user interface of an existing social network or website.
Back End Reporting
A Web browser based reporting system is also provided to clients. The specific components of the reports available depend on the Applets chosen. The reporting system is password controlled. Multiple reporting levels by passwords can be provided to ensure restricted reporting access.
Reports range from tracking new members joining by day, to the quantity of posts in your marketplace or sales leads per specific state/province.
Additionally, depending on the specific components chosen, most clients are provided an Analytics account which includes the following reporting on Advanced Segmentation, Motion Charts, Keyword and Campaign Comparison, Benchmarking, Trend and Date Slider, Ecommerce Tracking, Traffic Reporting, and Geo-Targeting.

Content Management System
Sales Spider provides a Content Management System (CMS), enabling easy modification. The CMS is a browser based application and is primarily used for creating and managing HTML content.
The Sales Spider CMS software provides authoring (and other) tools designed to allow users with little or no knowledge of programming languages or mark-up languages to create and manage content with relative ease of use.

- Description: A Brand using the Sales Spider platform as its user interface may want to include areas from its current web content whether e-commerce, or content specific to the brand.
Home/Dashboard
- Description: This is each member’s home page once they join. It is automatically created. The dashboard is included in the CMS application and is specific to each brand’s version of the SMB Social Network. The Dashboard is a personalized homepage automatically created to suit each member’s prefernces. It acts as a central jump off point. Existing community sites can integrate applets into their own Dashboards.
Leads & Government Grants
- Description: Free Sales Leads & Government Grants, Instant Access to 30,000 Free Sales Leads, Business Opportunities and Prospect Lists - Updated Daily! Leads are localized for members (view geo-targeted leads first) and 80% of members opt to receive an e-newsletter sent on Mondays reporting new leads and opportunities.
Classifieds/Marketplace
- Description: Free B2B Classified Ad Board that provides local classifieds and forums for jobs, housing, for sale, services, local community, and events. Classified Ads are localised for members (view geo-targeted leads first) and 50% of members opt to receive an e-newsletter sent on Wednesdays or Thursdays reporting new quantity and general titles of new classified advertisements.
Biz Tools
- Description : Online Business Tools Such as Calculators, Business Documents, Financing & Grants, Business Start Up Guides, Lists of Business Laws and Regulations, Online Training and Videos
Business Directory
- Description: Online Business Directory where Business Owners and Entrepreneurs can get Free Advertising and Post Their Business Product or Service For Free or Search and Find Products and Services
Job Center
- Description: Job Center allows Members to Post their Resumes and have them reviewed by Potential Employers. Employers and recruiters can post job ads and search and connect with potential employees

- Description: Social Network for Business Owners and Entrepreneurs and includes Profiles, Directory and Listings of Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, and Distributors
- Brands can choose to allow access to the entire Sale Spider network of members (pre-population) or limit access to their own members.

- Description: This is the section members use to send and receive messages within the network.
Live Chat
- Description: This Applet includes Free Business Chat Rooms for immediate and live interaction between members.
Videos
- Description: This Applet includes business videos. There are two categories of business videos for this section.
- Videos from news organisations – MSNBC and SBTV (Small Business TV)
- User Uploaded Videos – Business-related videos provide by members to be viewed by other members. Coming Soon.
Forums
- Description: This Applet includes business forums where members can create forums on subjects of their choosing and other members can post messages and comments on these forums. Forums are editorially controlled by the member who creates them.
- Many brands choose to create their own business topics for listings and limit all other forums from its members. This controls the quality of the forums. Editorial control is kept by the Brand.
Settings
- Description: This Applet can be seen by members exclusively and is used for their control of their profile listing, opt in and opt out privileges and all other personal settings. Depending on the client’s selections, a settings area is required to provide users self serve control.
